Use your slow cooker to make these fantastic sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds HORMELĀ® ALWAYS TENDERĀ® Peppercorn Flavored Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (26-ounce) jar barbeque sauce
  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 12 buns, split

Directions

  1. In slow cooker, place pork tenderloin. Add onion; sprinkle with allspice, salt and pepper. Cover; cook on HIGH setting 6 to 8 hours or until pork is cooked through. Remove pork from slow cooker, discarding any excess liquid.
  2. With two forks, shred pork; return pork to slow cooker. Add barbeque sauce and pineapple; cover. Cook on LOW setting until heated thoroughly.
  3. Serve shredded pork in buns; top with thinly sliced green bell pepper, if desired.
