There are a variety of ways to cook bacon:
Place bacon in a shallow baking pan and cook three inches from the boiler, turning slices once. Drain the bacon before serving
Place bacon slices in skillet over medium heat, turning often to achieve uniform crispness. Drain the bacon before serving.
This is a great way to cook bacon for a large gathering. Heat the oven to 400°F. Lay slices on a rack in a shallow pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
Place up to eight slices on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a paper towel. Cook on HIGH 6 to 8 minutes, turning the rack every 2 minutes. For microwave bacon, follow the package instructions.

- Microwave Ready Bacon
- Flavored bacon, such as peppered and apple smoked
